I've used 1 bar and family seems fine. No one had any reaction. Good excuse to try rebatching since I've never done it before. Probably keep 1 for my soap museum, use 1 more and chop the remaining 2 up.

Shoots.. I made a lard soap with Spearmint. Seems like I'm over IRFA guidelines about 6 times. 😭 The soap is now 5 weeks old. Should I chop it up and rebatch? Luckily it's a small 1 pound test loaf.

I realised that the finished soap looks like the unmelted coconut oil. Colour difference in the final bar is slight but as I personally prefer a naturally as white as possible bar, I see what you mean. That said, my usual CO is like what you see in the pics. Slightly yellow. Never knew that...

I've recently tried my newly cured 100% Coconut oil soap. What I found for longevity vs hardness is that coconut oil made a hard soap but does not last. Nothing beats trying it for yourself. I knew it wouldn't last but wow.. it really did not last! Hardness: 10/10. You can throw it at my head...

Would anyone know the difference between these 2 OO? Ingredient list seems to be same. Same price too. Which would be a better choice for slower trace compared to pomace.
