We had chicken stir fry from Costco tonight. Nobody had felt like properly cooking this weekend hehe.

This happened the first time I used that particular mold :( I have a few and they’ve all done this, even if I clean them out with alcohol first. I poured this one at 160.

I would recommend weighing the ice just in case. My bags usually have a little more ice than less, but I always want to make sure I’m getting that correct 1:1 ratio.

My soapy-thing today is related to this, I ordered squeeze bottles for the challenge because I don't have any yet! Now I'm daydreaming about what colors I want to use :) I meant to photograph some of my soaps today but I wound up taking a nap instead, oops.

We had lasagna and cheesy bread tonight. Low key and the kids actually ate it.

I've done rice packs with essential oils and I've found that the scent has lasted quite a while even without the ability to cut off air flow. It does eventually disappate but it lasted much longer than I expected. So I'd say this sounds like a feasible project :)

I mixed 12lb of 50/50 lye solution today, whew! That will last me a while hehe.

Thank you :D I haven't tried lotion yet, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time! I have several scents I would love to have last a little longer on me and I do use lotion, so it makes sense to make my own. Making more soap *does* help pass the time! I'm going to need more storage soon hehe
