I photographed my second attempt yesterday so at least I can enter that and hope it counts if I don’t get a chance to make a third try. I’m still hoping to try again with an even lighter trace and cpop so it hopefully solidifies on time. I’m excited to see everyone else’s!

I made salt bars lol. I'm so glad I searched here before I did it because I was totally going to use Pink Himalayan, but I learned better! My trusty bottle of Costco sea salt came to the rescue.

Did my second attempt today. From what I can see/how it went I'm pretty sure it turned out more like what I intended than the first attempt, but I'm not convinced I actually made drops. I'm not exactly sure where I'm going wrong, this batter was much more fluid but I don't feel like my lines...

I made butter chicken. It turned out alright... the chicken overcooked just a touch, and I forgot the corn starch at the end to thicken the sauce a little. So it tasted really good but none of the texture was quite right.

I just cut my first goat milk soap (made with powder because I don't have easy access to fresh milk) and OMG it smells AWFUL 😂 Which to my understanding is normal and it should fade, but whew. It was worse than I expected.

We’re over at my husband’s parents’ house, my father in law is making shepherds pie. It smells so good, can’t wait to eat it.

I went ceramics painting today and made an ombré mug! I’m excited to see what it looks like after the kiln. Do any of you ever paint ceramics? I’d love to see some of your work if you do!

My big concern with using silicone is that it’s so soft. I used one once and was terrified when I picked it up because it felt so unstable.. I can sometimes be accident prone so I bought a sturdier plastic beaker for my lye solution that’s less likely to squish in my hands.

I have one by Fluke and it’s probably more expensive than a lot on the market but it’s a really good one that I expect to last me forever. I stole it from my husband lol
