I wouldn't use my watch normally while I make soap. I'm like you, I use my phone but having the timer on my watch, makes for a decent backup.

@TheGecko I was not trying to say that the ZCS is not the problem, it very well could be. I didn't want you to think that I was discounting your observation.

I usually can cut my soap around 18 hours and that's when I use ZCS. However I'm using a very simple recipe. I have had soaps that needed a full 24 hours cure before cutting and some that needed longer. The soaps that needed a longer wait time before cutting, were the ones in which I used...

I added another watch face. This one has a second hand and minute hand. I included the time & date plus a heart beat monitor in case your recipe is driving you nuts. I also included a seconds progress bar just for fun. The blue second hand and the progress bar matches up so that you know exactly...

I had some trouble with the editing and that extra m keeps showing up. I can add seconds but I can't do room temperature and humidity. The humidity and temperature come from a weather service. But I will see if there is a work around.

I would also suggest high oleic safflower/sunflower oil

I lived in Arlington TX for 7 years right on the corner of hwy 360 & Abrams st. And you are right it's hot. I would go to traders place as soon as it would open to avoid the heat.
