Here's the 1 week update on how the soaps have discolored so far. The FO discolors to a really dark brown. Can see some of the imperfections more with the darker colors and the two layers in middle look the same too much.

Are there any oils that have similar properties to canola in soap making? I knew some people were iffy about lard but had no clue they also do not like canola. Is there any reasons to not soap with canola?

I'm looking to buy a smaller mold that holds 32 ounces total. At 33% lye concentration, how many ozs of oil should I use? My current batch size usually is 35 oz of oil at 33% lye concentration. I'm bad at math. How does that recipe look? Any recommened changes?
