    What’s with the spots?

I’m pretty sure it wasn’t a tbsp cause I used it out of a 15ml bottle and there’s still over 3/4 of the bottle left that I previously use. Big lesson learned and will definitely keep it in mind for next time. Thanks again AliOop😊

    What’s with the spots?

I did mix at around 80F because I didn’t want a volcano🙀. They are looking okay and fairly hard already so I’m happy 😊

    What’s with the spots?

Thanks for the help AliOop. I mixed the oils with the clay and stick blended well into the melted oils. I did manage to stick blend a bit after the lye but not enough I guess, it was turning solid. I didn’t use very much cinnamon and clove but I will check eo safety for sure. Thanks for the advice🤗

What soapy thing have you done today?

I always add about 3 tsp of salt for a 4 lb batch. Hardens over night. If I was ready ever in the morning I could cut before bed. Or put it in the freezer. Like a lot of us patience is terrible 😬. Just so excited to see the outcome. As for cleanup I scrape everything clean into my main bowl and...

    What’s with the spots?

That’s probably it. I did stick blend the oils before the lye was added. Thinking about it again I did stick blend until I felt it get hard at the bottom then stirred as much as I could. Next time I’ll try hp. Would the same recipe work for hp?

    What’s with the spots?

Made this wine soap last night. Started great. Had some yellow dock infused oil so threw that as part of the olive oil mix with red clay and eos. The recipe doesn’t show but I used a T of ground orange peel because I find that lasts longer and stronger than orange eo. Also died some cedar eo. It...

    What happened 😲

No harshness taken, appreciate the advice as I have just started making soap since making some for Christmas gifts and now am totally addicted. I have sold quite a few already to friends but don’t plan on anything like stores or even Farmers markets. Just want to make enough to keep supplies...

    What happened 😲

It is the spots I’m concerned about.I didn’t think it was dos since it appeared so fast. Looking closely I am thinking it’s the anise seed powder. Pretty colour if it was a bit more solid. Is it still sellable? As for the indigo I used 1 tsp with about 2 tbsp hot water and a pinch of salt and...

    What happened 😲

I used olive oil drained from anise powder, ground sifted anise powder, lavender and peppermint eo. I used pork lard as I realized I didn’t have enough coconut oil (8 oz co). It was nice out of the mold and minute by minute it’s getting pinker 🧐 For colorant charcoal powder for bottom 2 layers...

    Carrot juice soap HP

I too want to make mine all natural so I was really proud of this one since I just got hooked on soap making when I made some for family for Christmas. It was my first try with an insert. The top of sunset is grapefruit peel/turmeric then carrot purée, reddish is tomato paste with paprika and...
