Wow, I never imagined you could do that much with soap curls! Looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with this month.

I add my mica to the liquid oils and the fragrance, and give it a whizz with a mini-mixer. I whizz it again before I add the mix to the melted beeswax and hard oils. It seems to stay mixed pretty well this way.

This challenge has been an eye-opener! I am just amazed at how some of the various hues look like totally different colors with the addition of the white, grey, or black. Who'da thunk it???

Thanks, @Mobjack Bay . I also found trying some of my earliest formulas that too much beeswax made the bar too hard and less moisturizing. I especially don't like lip balms with a strong beeswax base rather than more oily. From the feel of this batch of LBs, I suspect it's one of the oils...

Those videos are fascinating. Thanks for posting them. I've seen felt clothing and other items before but had no idea about the process that created them.

The molds were as full as they could be, so there was definitely a little more mix than usual. I'm hoping curing for a while will help them, but they've not ever felt greasy before even a day later, so something is a little different.
