Made these today, and like so many things, it's not quite as easy as it looks. Rubbed and rubbed 'til it seemed I would use up half the soap trying to get it woven and tight. Will the wool shrink more as it dries? The 2 colorful ones are regular wool roving. The small white one was experiment...

I read somewhere that the empty felts make great little cat toys. Very handy if you happen to have a cat 😻

Lots of dust! So I "wrapped" mine in a zip lock baggie 🤣 The trickiness of bath bombs makes me glad I'm a shower person and not a bath lover!:shower:

@AliOop @Misschief I thought I'd try my hand at bath bombs as something "simple" to do between soaps, shampoo and conditioners. Hah! Not so simple after all, and yes, are they ever finicky! Especially here in the PNW humidity!

Took me about 4 hours today setting up my booth for a new-to-me market this weekend. Hope I have enough energy left for run the booth for the next 2 days (lol)! This will be the largest market I've every done (close to 300 vendors)! Yikes!

I totally get it too. I keep telling myself I will narrow down my scents to a dozen or so "basics," but there's always a tantalizing new one I can't resist when I'm ordering. And don't get me started on those essential oil blends: I don't even need to order anything to try yet another...

I had trouble using the plastic wrap too. Then I started dusting it with cornstarch and it worked beautifully. (You can see a bit of the dust on the bars if you look closely.)

Just finished making shampoo bars with my new mooncake press. It's time-consuming to use, but the bars are so pretty it's worth it. Used the Revive blend from eocalc (tea tree, peppermint, eucalyptus, and lavender) and they smell divine. Gotta try this blend in some soap too.

One Pot Wonder is one of my favorite pours. And this EO blend is dreamy! My husband is not a patchouli fan but he likes this one. Despite being 55% patchouli, the predominant scent is the lemongrass.
