Washing the hands and then they turn brown. Wow lol. This is the funniest thing I've seen in a long time. The mind bendiness of poop smelling clean hands...I just can't get over it.

Strangely one of the best scents (jasmine) has a component that's also responsible for scenting poop lol.

Almost all irritation issues can be resolved with technique and going easy with the blade. @Blue1969 With regards to recipe-I would say you're going to have to experiment. There's a lot of variables. Stearic is recommended for the stability of the lather, it's thick and stays around forever...

Yep. I haven't sussed out whether it's a recipe issue, cure issue, or something else yet. I am going to let a set of soaps I made recently cure to 8, 12, 16 weeks to see if that makes a difference. Last soap made took 3-4 showers before it had the normal glide. Also been meaning to mess around...

The good thing is that when a recipe calls for stearic acid I don't think there's any way for anyone to get 100% stearic acid, so they are probably all using something similar. A problem IMO is that "stearic acid" SAP values across different types (soy, palm, beef tallow, rapeseed oil) or...
