Wow, you all have some very impressive soaps there. Here is my entry, colored with 2 strengths of alkanet infused oil. If it morphs to purple I will update you.

I made goat milk, honey and oats soaps today with 2 different tops. Then had to go to the shop for more lye to make my coconut and aloe Vera.

SMF February 2021 Challenge - Circling Taiwan Swirl

The bolts on mine are welded on. I will have a go at prising them off. I think I might be better with a block, at least that way they soap can’t move much.

SMF February 2021 Challenge - Circling Taiwan Swirl

Hi there, Totally butchered the cut of my bar. I normally use a multi bar cutter, I bought this as I was not very great with my single wire and had a few uneven bars. Even the cut into blocks was not possible with my single wire as the bolts are too close to the wire. So I used a knife Resulting...

My first attempt at a Taiwan Swirl today. The batter started to thicken quite quickly and was was plopped in between the dividers. The top looks very lumpy And the sides, where I went round are a bit messy. The colours are white and then 2 shades of alkanet, hopefully one will be darker than the...

What soapy thing have you done today?

I cut this soap today. It is made with chocolate and scented with Orange EO. Quite pleased with the embed, the mica line is too fine. I don’t know what caused the drag line on every bar, I use a multi bar cutter.

What soapy thing have you done today?

Today I tried my first soap with an embed running the length of the loaf. I will not know until tomorrow whether it has been a success or not. Oooo the anticipation!,

What is Yoni soap? What makes a soap safe for the ****** ?

Haha, this reminded me of a review I read some years ago. It has only taken me an hour’s browsing to find it. Laughed my socks off when I read this the first time. This blog was not the original review that I read but here was the first place that I found it...

Yes I did. It worked well and has a much better finish. I meant to take pictures but gave it away as Christmas presents. I will make more soon though.

What soapy thing have you done today?

The only soapy thing I did today was read reams and reams of legislation about selling to the UK from Europe next year. My head hurts 🤕

What soapy thing have you done today?

Today I removed options for shipping to the UK from my website. Sadly, after 1st January, I don’t have the infrastructure in place to sell there. Another Brexit fallout. I am hoping to do a swap with a UK based soaper so that we can be each other’s ‘responsible person’ but for now I can no...

What soapy thing have you done today?

Today I rebatched this soap. It has honey it it but I didn’t blend it well enough so it was all in the bottom of the bowl which became the top layer. The top was very crumbly. I am hoping the rebatch comes out ok.
