Soap recipe for older thin skin

Okay WOW. I thought just for fun I’d do a quick internet search for persimmon. Guess what came up? “Gets rid of that old people smell”! I am rarely offended by anything but Mother of Everything Holy, that’s just rude! And now I’m genuinely curious what it smells like. Yes, Cabela’s has it...

Soap recipe for older thin skin

That’s great, thank you! I’ll go look at Cabela’s. I usually soap with my daughter, who is strictly vegan. If I have a solo soap day, I might do the tallow for my hubby.

Oooooooo persimmon! That sounds interesting! I don't use tallow; wondering what vegan option could be used in its place.

    Frightening Canning Procedures

Growing up on my grandparents farm, we canned (and froze) everything! That was the purpose - to get us through the winter. But they did keep those jars for years. I still can, but just jams and sweet pickles. They’re easy. Everything must be cooked and sealed properly! You MUST pressure can...

    Got the new iphone

I think I had an iPhone 7 fifteen years ago! How long did you have it? I think I could store 30 photos on it before having to delete some. I have the 13 Pro Max now. Since I've had iPhones for so long, I can say I'm pretty happy with them, but can't remember what my flip phones were like...

Is there an easy way to remove the smell from used cooking oils?

I’m curious about reusing cooking oil now! Yesterday my son the chef came over to watch the Super Bowl with us. He made homemade tortilla chips, frying them in canola oil. He apologized for leaving me with about half a gallon of used oil. But I said thank you! I think I can make soap out of...

That’s very clever! I talk with a girlfriend about picking up crocheting again. But the soap project and others have me busy. You’ve inspired me!

    How Soap Kills COVID

We had an influx of cold here in the PNW. It triggered my covid symptoms yesterday. I don't think I have covid again, just the symptoms. Hunkered down at home...yet again...and so tired, but really bored.

    food with bath/body products?

I’m a prolific shopper. When I visit a honey booth at a market, I’m interested in everything honey. Food, sundries, cute little Knick knacky things. If it’s under the honey umbrella, I’d buy it.
