I use Vitamin E oil in my anhydrous body butters. It's technically not a preservative, so won't work with water-containing products. But it does prevent oils and butters from going rancid.

@xuledywo I can using pectin. Pomona’s brand. You’ll have two packets in the box. Read the instructions carefully. I mix each packet separately with a little filtered water, then add to the mixture and gently stir. My daughter is vegan too. 😊
