I dissolve my Oakmoss absolute in Lavender Essential oil, and then add that to my EO blends. No jojoba needed. I find the Oakmoss overpowers the lavender. I have done 50/50 Oakmoss and Lavender. I like this blend in soap by itself as well.

I have always added my fragrance oils to my warmed oil, less chance of forgetting the FO and I get less drama, I have found.

I soaped this myrrh again in CP half and half with Lavender 40/42 and it behaved okay. I was able to use a stick blender for a bit but the batch is over 65% high oleic canola with Tallow and Shea. I love this blend of EO! If it sticks, it would be awesome!

No, the batch was okay. I let it hp itself and pour into the mold. Thankfully I am in a plain soap phase so there was no planned design. It has 25% cocoa butter so not sure if that contributed.

Your soap is most likely lye heavy. You are missing 10% of the oil for your batch. If you superfat at 5% and even if your NaOH is at 97% purity, there is that 2% extra lye that will make your soap unsafe to use for quite awhile. It can cure out with enough exposure to air but that will take a...

I would suggest you still try it. I have a a batch that my daughters love that is 75% High Oleic Canola oil and unless they let it sit in water, is actually good on longevity. I do use Vinegar as water replacement for all my batches.
