You might also be able to use a heat gun or blow dryer on the tops. That'll melt the top portion and smooth them out. (Works for candles too. ;) )

It looks like you had a lot of bubbles in your batter. Did you stick blend it? Sometimes you can unintentionally incorporate air bubbles into your soap. Also, how thick was it when you poured it? If your batter had bubbles and was was a a thick trace, it'd be nearly impossible to get those...

Yep - this! The bottom part is uncolored, with a slightly-discoloring FO. I added some ground oats for the “sand” effect.
