Today I made my first attempt at tinted lip balm. I made a small batch, which made 5 partial tubes that I colored with some micas I had on hand (I didn’t realize how many pinks I had!). They’re currently setting up. It’s been quite a while since I’ve made lip balm!

I decided not to use any FO in my test batch. I would’ve used a chocolate mint FO I have from WSP but didn’t. I need to convert this recipe to grams if I like it, bc ounces is just not precise enough for me!

My bars are currently cooling. I only had enough cocoa butter to make 3 bars….which is cool bc it gave me a good sample size batch. I‘m glad I don’t have to wait 4 weeks to try them! #impatient

I travel a lot for my job, and the last time I made it, I poured some into a little capsule that I use for toilets-type stuff. It’s so much easier to pack than oil!
