The lovely shades of green really make it pop! You almost convince me to try this design again. Do you know the magic ratios of batter for each part? Last time I tried this design, I ran out of my base color too soon and ended up with short bars (and leftover tree batter).

I really like Bramble Berry's Coconut Mango, but it does accelerate a bit. To me, the fragrance is worth dealing with the acceleration.

Hi @desiredcreations ... Since I first tried silk two years ago, I've been putting it in almost every batch. I haven't continued to have issues with silk and trace, so I suspect that my problem with the rose and lilac batches was the accelerating fragrance oil.

I got the idea from @Mobjack Bay in this post. I've always had trouble with my silicon tall & skinny mold bowing out, and I'm extremely pleased to report that this lego setup seems to have fixed the problem!

I'm quite excited to be making soap for the first time since my March challenge soap! (Do you like my beautiful armored mold? 😅)

I haven't found time for soaping yet this month, but this evening I made my first conditioner bars! :swinging:The mica didn't fully incorporate (not ideal, I know), but it gave them the neatest shimmery galaxy look. Already they're lightening up as they cool. I expect a mild lavender shade in...

I personally really like that fragrance and wouldn't think of it as perfumey.

My entry was made using the technique by Yvonne that @Mobjack Bay posted in the challenge introduction, except that I used a regular loaf mold instead of a slab mold. The bars are cut horizontally rather than vertically (like you would cut a circling taiwan). Being undecided on which fragrance...
