Just finished some little peppermints for a peppermint loaf.

Loadshedding makes one do strange things. Fixed some soaps that smells lovely but where ugly according to me..

Had a wonderful 2 days experimenting. Made 2 attempts at the spoon swirl challenge - difficult to decide which one is the ugliest. 🙈 Made soap dough that came out beautiful - having fun with it. It is really amazing stuff to play with. 🤣 Tommorow has a peppermint and cherry on the agenda.

First try is setting. Definately need something with a longer handle. Don't think my colours are going to work. My reds will probably turn brown. But at least I will be able to see what my spoon and spatula did. Can't wait to unmold!

Had quite a hectic soaping day! Started an attempt at a scraped soap - the soap wouldn't set, the scrapers were moving - what a mess. Ended up throwing the batter into a loaf and taking a nap. Then started a second attempt - much better, but still not working - not even a descent indication of...

Sooo excited! Been struggling to find and shape a recipe for soap dough with tallow. My normal soap recipe just became too hard. Mixed a small batch yesterday while feeling a bit better. Just unmolded them and sat in bed kneading it to see if this umpteenth attempt will work. It does! Now just...

It is just whipped soap that I shaped with a scraper to make the cloud. So, it makes a floating soap with a cloud.

Still not ready to tackle a batch, but managed to take some photos of my last few batches. The one is a scraped floating soap scented with a baby powder flavour oil and the secong a confetti soap with a sherbet flavour oil.

Soap dough and molded soap

I am thinking of adding a 3d perspective to my cut bars by "pasting" a little somthing on the corner or face of the cut bar. Has anyone got any experience or advice on this? All will be cp, no mp involved.
