Oxide ? Please help. Is the oxide (red, black, green, blue, brown, yellow) I buy at the hardware store the same oxdes to be used for cp soap?

Forgot to ask in previous post: I ordered some Moringa powder. Does anyone here have any feedback on adding moringa powder to soap. I found some info that suggests that it is added to the oils before adding the lye?

Probably, I was thinking of grinding up antacid tablets - cause that if basically calcium carbonate with flavouring?

Hi, This was 5 parts calcium carbonate powder, 2 parts baking soda, 3 parts xylitol, 5 parts coconut oil, essential oil (I used peppermint) for flavour. Did not taste bad, but the pieces of carbonate got stuck between my teeth! I know the feeling!

Made a small batch of toothpaste to try. Taste not bad, but definately too gritty for my taste and I miss the foam and bubbles.

Not bad at all. My wife loves it. With the struggling I forgot the fragrance. Will definately try again with fragrance or essential oil.

Ideas on baking soda? I make a mean stain stick that works well and is quite popular. Do you think adding baking soda to the mix would improve it?

Thx for the reply. Was still stonehard at room temperature, so remelted it and added more glycerin and water. Whipped up lovely. Will try tonight and see how it feels.
