How are you offsetting the cost of Olive Oil?

Me either but I think it has something to do with the humidity. I make my product in my dining room which is the furthest place away from the AC. It also gets to be the hottest area in the house so I can't work there during the heat of the day. I have a 1540 sq ft house. Air conditioning is...

    Fragrance Packaging, So Different

That label is so much better than any of the ones I have on my shelf.

How are you offsetting the cost of Olive Oil?

Most of the time, I just have to leave it in the kitchen and that will take care of that lol. It's the warmest part of the house and I've had issues with slight volcanoing before because of it but not enough to significantly matter. I've never been able to understand how people can gel it so...

    Pricing

Most people will say 3 to 4 times the cost but there's alot that goes into determining price. So things to consider... 1. You seem to already know the average cost for a bar of soap in your area and this is important. Your market will only bare so much price. I upped the price of mine last...

How are you offsetting the cost of Olive Oil?

Well, I made my first batch with mostly lard and taking the OO down to 3 oz. It's still soft, but I like how this is doing is comparison to the sunflower oil. Honestly been thinking of starting to put my soap in the freezer to see if it will come out of the mold smoother. I always have the same...

Facial Cleanser for mature sensitive skin?

Well my husband has a bald spot on the back of his head and his dad is almost entirely bald sooo... course, not for the same reasons. Sometimes I give him a kiss on his bald spot just to mess with him. lol. I have square. Haven't updated it in quite a while. Then I've been forced to basically...

Facial Cleanser for mature sensitive skin?

Oh wow, I can't imagine how horrifying that would be. I've never had that problem but I know people who have. I'm very glad you found something to help you.

Facial Cleanser for mature sensitive skin?

You and me both lol. Although, sometimes I do feel like smacking the stupid out of people. I just result to sarcasm and occasionally insults.:) It's REALLY funny when they realize they were wrong because I made them think for two seconds about the dumb thing that just came out of their mouths by...

    Impatience

Suggestion, just let it cure. I know you want to use it but Ali hit the nail on the head. My biggest thing is that it really does waste away faster. At least mine does.

Facial Cleanser for mature sensitive skin?

Unfortunately the oil drives me crazy because I can feel it. I don't like anything on my face. Sounds weird I know. That's ok. I do have a bit of facial hair lol. Above my lip. Sooo... bit relevant yeah. I hate this growing old stuff. That started after that time of life... you know what I mean.

Facial Cleanser for mature sensitive skin?

So at least I'm not the only one that stared shaving their arms years ago. It's so dark otherwise that it's always made me feel like an ape. Women aren't supposed to have hair that dark. My husband doesn't care but I do.

I just checked amazon for that and it says there was no olive oil found.

I will look for it and see what I can find out.

How are you offsetting the cost of Olive Oil?

That's the problem. OO went up and people started buying other oils so they went up too. Very frustrating. My next soap I have planned will be 3 oz OO and the remaining amount that would have been OO is going to be lard. Have to bring the costs down.

    Dry vs Liquid extras

I usually use around 1 tbsp ppo.

Facial Cleanser for mature sensitive skin?

I've looked into it before. I could only find one place that sells zinc pyrithione. It's considered medicinal so there are lots of rules for it even in the US. I actually want some pretty bad for my own personal soap. At a concentration of 2% (you can't get that level of concentration without...

Facial Cleanser for mature sensitive skin?

I had considered that as well. Though I was considering clay. I don't put oil on my skin, it's oily enough already and I don't like things on my skin. Hence why my skin being oily already is driving me up the wall. I don't even wear makeup unless I'm going to a special event. Not sure how...

Facial Cleanser for mature sensitive skin?

I don't use any other products on my skin. I've never needed it before. Although those crows feet are showing. I haven't been worrying much about wrinkles and the like since my family all has a thing where our skin looks younger than we are. Whats really bothering me is the pimples showing up...

    Dry vs Liquid extras

I don't use the ice cube method. I've found its a major pain. I just found the powder to make things way easier.
