    Lip Balm or Lip Gloss?

Since both can have moisturizing and beneficial properties, I'm trying to decide if I should switch to selling gloss. Oddly, it seems much easier to find gloss containers and colors than it is for balms. People that used to sell balm containers seem to have mostly stopped so every time I order...

Facial Cleanser for mature sensitive skin?

This is going to sound weird but you can get 16 oz of glycerin at Hobby Lobby for $7. Not sure if that's a deal where you are but I can't find anywhere cheaper. Hard to believe Hobby Lobby would be cheaper for anything honestly. They carry Makesy. I just bought some yesterday.

    Pumpkin embed molds???

What kind of mold exactly? Round? I have something like these from Walmart. Can't remember if it was Walmart or Dollar Tree I got mine from. They should have them in the baking aisle. Though we're getting closer so they may have moved them to seasonal. If you're willing to pay a bit more...

Facial Cleanser for mature sensitive skin?

https://www.humblebeeandme.com/gentle-low-lather-face-cleanser/ Hope that helps. I did increase the amount of sci by roughly twice the amount. I prefer more bubbles but it cleans well without it and doesn't leave my skin feeling oily, sticky, or anything.

Facial Cleanser for mature sensitive skin?

I started using a recipe from Humblebee and Me for face wash and it's been fantastic. And I still have a bit of those oils and moisturizers left (I'm going to buy more when I run out since they have oils I don't normally use). I haven't had an itchy spot or pimple since. I find coconut oil to...

Does anyone add Titanium dioxide directly to lye water?

I only use water soluble td in bath bombs and only occasionally. Like if I know that it might change color due to scent. I use oil soluble because I've found it's much less likely to cause the problems you've suggested. A couple weeks ago, I made soap with oil soluble td. One teaspoon td to...

Anyone else finding buying on Amazon frustrating these days? - Halloween

With the shipping costs, I've started buying as much locally as I can.

Anyone else finding buying on Amazon frustrating these days? - Halloween

Yes. I'm just waiting for one more thing for my bath bombs. I ordered two things from Amazon. The rest, I purchased elsewhere. I've gotten to the point where I trust buying online less than I did even a few years ago.

My soap smells rancid and has purple/pink streaks during curing

Did you freeze the coconut milk first? It's not like other milks but its still possible for the heat from the chemical reaction to cause it to go bad. Thats why most people freeze it first or just add the powdered to the oils before adding the lye water.

Considering a new loaf mold - opinions please?

Ok, so, I did a little tweaking and this time I was able to unmold after a week. I increased the coconut to 22% and decreased the lard. Mind you, it's still soft, but it came out of the mold without getting stuck.

    Camel hump fat

I've never even seen anyone talk about that before. Or seen it. I'm not even sure what to say. That's a thing? The only time I've ever seen a camel is at a fair. You know the traveling ones with rides and stuff. Maybe try asking a company you buy the sodium hydroxide from? That is so never a...

Considering a new loaf mold - opinions please?

I've had it hot enough in my kitchen that the soap has cracked on top. Not sure cpop is a good idea.

Considering a new loaf mold - opinions please?

Yes, it's mostly the loaf molds, though I do have some small problems occasionally with others.

Considering a new loaf mold - opinions please?

For everyone asking, yes, I'm having problems removing the soap from the silicone mold. OOoo reusable. That works for me.
