I have actually used the one @AliOop mentioned, unfortunately blended it or rather I used it along with another FO (for different discoloration levels). I remember the bar smelled good. It discolored to the lighter brown (Beige). Not sure what its new IFRA rate is nowadays though.

Spirulina does change over time. Most natural colorants do, especially if exposed to light. I believe that Jo Hausler keeps her naturally colored soaps in a box away from the light to maintain the natural colors better.

You said the oils smell fine, but how old are they really? Did you purchase them very recently?

Interesting, I once saw Orange clove go from 2 to 3.5% or something along those lines, I called them to verify and they said that was the new rate, so I got it to try in HP.
