So here is the soaps in my shower. The blue has poppyseeds at 4.5%. I need to cut this maybe to 3%. The soap was fantastic but a little too scratchy for me. My soapy thing? Getting really excited because my two oil exfoliating soap finally cured enough to use and I’m in love!!! Bathed with it and the lather is wonderful and doesn’t make my skin feel tight! Now I just have to work on a good fragrance for my next batch 😏

Loves it!! he was using something commercial, but when I started to make lotions, I made something for him. It works and it’s free. I think if it didn’t work, even if it was free, he wouldn’t use it.LOL!!

I make a light weight lotion for my son with 5% IPM. I came to that formulation after many experiments 🤗 According to Lotioncrafters the usage rate is up to 10%.

What about candle science espresso?

It has a similar profile to lard so I really love it. I will swap out 1:1 lard/Kokum in recipes. I also use it it body lotions. very conditioning

The more I make the better I get. 🤗 I’ve made a few bars I really like!! My favorite ones are made with lard, tallow (or a mix of both) or Kokum. And no more than 18% CO. 😏

I have a bottle of water soluble TD in a 1:3 solution. It settles but a good shake (I have bolts in mine) and everything is right as rain. One less thing I have to premeasure. :-)

I do this and it works but what I’m going to try next is bolts in my bottle it TD/water. That’s what I Dream In Soap recommends 🤗

It’s not comparable but for me it resembles whit soap without TD a light olive oil and all whit or “clear” oils. I was trying to figure out how to make clear soap without glycerin ( it happening) and got “white” soap. Make a SMALL batch and see if you like it.
