    I melt using the double boiler method which is much easier to control. Maybe its going to be a bit of trial and error to see at what point the mix is too hot and penetrates the layer underneath.

    Wrapping my bath bombs

    I started by using srink wrap bags but i find them a pain to pick open when i want to get in a bomb. I now just use clingfilm (the stuff you wrap food up with. Plastic wrap?) I watched bath bomb reviews on you tube and many mentioned how anoying shrink wrap is.

    When a recipe calls for things in %'s do you use weights volume or both? I was making my bombs today and i need to add no more than 1% fragrence. My full mix is 1000g so i was adding my 10mls of frangrence and i noticed it was much less than 10g. Same goes for SLSA so now im wondering whats right?

    Bath Bombs Cracking Days Later

    Hi Do you pack the bath bombs as you go or do you loosly pile the mix in both sides of your moulds (assuming your using mould if not dont worry) and push them together. I have found the cracking happens when you pack as you go.
