Yes they may be slow but their website does tell you up front how they are running on processing orders and I have yet to find better quality fragrance oils. I will gladly wait a couple extra days for better quality. Just have to plan ahead a little bit, something many of us have forgotten in...

It just occurred to me I said mine was about to come out then mentioned container size. I meant mine was about finished and ready to be molded, It didn't swell too much but did rise up a little on me.

Funny that you mention this, I have a batch in the crock pot as we speak, just about ready to come out actually. Biggest thing is beware of the size of the batch vs the container you are using to process it in, it does swell a bit!

Where are you at where there is no buttermilk to be found? I need to know because I couldn't live there.....lol. I not only cook with it but drink it as well.

Those look fabulous for first attempts, just as fabulous as if you had made a thousand batches. My first attempts were nowhere near that impressive for sure!

what you originally made was a bastile bar . Do some reading on bastile and castile soaps here on the forum. Had you allowed them time to cure you may have been pleasantly surprised.

I have read where some use a pure grain alcohol such as Everclear and they use a fine mist sprayer and mist the top after pouring in the mold. Pure grain alcohol will be 99% but it is ethyl alcohol as opposed to isopropyl alcohol. Does it make a difference which alcohol? Does one work better...

They just effectively turned away any new customers. I have never used NDA but let's be honest, most soapers are not big operations and if they have never tried their products they aren't going to order $100 of merchandise to "sample" their quality especially with so many other suppliers online...
