I am curious about coloring soap - I haven't tried it yet - I've read that food coloring is not a good idea. However, I was at Whole Foods yesterday and they have India Tree Natural Decorating colors - package states it's made from highly concentrated vegetable colorants. My questions are...

just want to throw this out there - I stopped by Goodwill today and lucked out - found a 2nd cheap plastic one for when I eventually kill the 1st - I don't want to be stuck in the middle w/o a backup. Goodwill rocks! :) HTH

Hello! Thanks for reading - I just made my 1st batch of soap today (CP). I plan on getting it out of the mold tomorrow afternoon, cutting it and curing it for 3 weeks (according to recipe) - the question is: is curing in the basement, which is a little cooler than the rest of the house...
