Thanks you guys! I purchased cobalt blue mica powder....crossing my fingers.....was VERY happy with activated charcoal (obviously not for blue soap) & hope this will finally give me the results I have been hoping for!!!

Okay...I can make a nicebar of soap and have some awesome recipes I am quite proud of, but FOR THE LIFE OF ME I cannot get a true blue soap. I've tried many, many dyes (all liquid, perhaps that's the problem) and always end up with purple. I don't want purple. :? Any suggestions...

Okay, so I have gone to Brambelberry's calculator and see vegetable shortening (yeah!!!), but when I want yo enter my coconut oil...what one do I chide?!! I have an organic, refined product ... and as far as shea butter goes...same question...which one do I pick? It is a 100% pure/natural...

Is it just me or are lye calculators difficult to use? I truly just don't understand them and feel "stuck" using two basic recipes. Is there s lye calculator for dummies???
