Naturally colored soap - The journey

Thank you for your kind words. Indeed, Bianca is the center of my universe. She's so into making soap too. She loves to weigh the soap to check on the weight loss, catalog the results, keep the tags, etc etc. She is truly a light in a sometimes very dark world. We hike, birdwatch, garden, sing...

    Natural green colorants experiment

Hi everyone, thought I'd add my attempt at natural green to the thread. 2nd bar from left: Infused 18% HOSF with parsley and 15% EVOO with parsley. 3rd from left: same as 2 but added a little bit of black walnut powder to both infusions to darken it up.

    That Blasted Eucalyptus Spearmint

I use organic spearmint from Jedwards, the price and quality are phenomenal in my opinion. 60% spearmint 25% Lemongrass 15% Eucalyptus I can't stop sniffing the bars every time I walk by the bathroom or the curing rack. Weeding the garden has become so much more enjoyable because it gives me...

Naturally colored soap - The journey

She was screaming and thankfully never got out of the car until the first responders showed up so she didn't have to see this young boys head. I contacted her the...

    Post your Gripe

When I'm cooking dinner (which is always), and no one is ready to eat at the scheduled time. Especially, after I make SEVERAL announcements about using the restroom, washing hands, dinner in 10 minutes etc, etc. When I say dinner will be served at 6pm, then you better make like a 5am marine at...

What fragrance makes you think of the ‘90’s?

Drakkar Noire in the 80's and my dad's Skin Bracer in the 70's when I thought I was John Travolta.
