If SL is liquid salt, couldn't you just use your own salt water solution to harden bars and make them last longer? Or is SL something that would be different than just plain salt water? Thanks!

I've used oxides quite a bit to color my cp soaps. Can someone tell me what the difference is in micas and oxides and why one would be used over the other? Also, can you also dust the tops of bars with mica? or is that just glitter that you use for that? Thanks!

Yes, I have used cocoa butter for years. The only thing that I haven't ever used before was the avocado butter. I haven't used much avocado oil over the years either, but never the avocado butter.

I recently have made two batches using both avocado oil and avocado butter in addition to my regular oils. I LOVE IT! Wondering, since avocado butter is only oil mixed with hydrogenated vegetable oil, I wonder if using all avocado oil would still have the same effect. What do you think?
