    Spring Soap Wraps

Thanks. I do put labels on the back stating what kind and ingredients. Sometimes I use a cute little stamp I imprint on the papers and write the scent on that. Although, I've seen a lot of soapers make cigar wraps that come from a template on Photoshop I perfer handwritten ones. For me it adds...

No idea what to do with it

I found this oil today at 2 bucks for 8oz I couldn't pass it up. It's called Africa's Best Herbal Oil. I found it at Walmart. Should I use this to superfat? Is it going to effect CP as it does have a lot of extracts in it? Any feed back is much appreciated. Here's what's in it: Soy Bean...

    crumbly on the bottom...

I may be wrong here, but what I understand is that crumbly is not good when it comes to soap making. It's lye heavy if you get a zap from the crumled piece. There are lots of threads on rebatching you should check out. Maybe get a second, third or even fourth opinion from some of the more...

    Psoriasis - suggestions?

Your post confuses me. You say epsom salts are bad bad bad, yet you go one to say "just keep trying different things, everyone's body chemistry is different ect" What are you trying to say here? Try everything except salts because they are for relaxation? Unless you have the ailment, you do not...

    Need some advise

I've read about remelting scraps but never done it myself. From what I understand you would want to grate down your pieces, put them into a double broiler and let them slowly melt down into a liquid form. You would need to add a little water to the soap. Once you have a smooth texture, place...

    What's your Secret?

Thanks for sharing. I have done just that but I think I must not be letting it get thick enough. Please correct me if I'm wrong here but are you coming to trace in the pot, pouring, letting it rest and then adding the texture? My current fav recipe fits nicely into a tupperware 12x8. Since it's...

    What's your Secret?

I love love textured tops on many of the soaps I see around. I've tried this with CP but it's just not working for me. Is this a HP method or am I just not doing it right? Anyone care to share their secret? Thanks in advance
