Can someone tell me what the dreaded orange spots actually are, why they happen and what is so bad about them?

Why do you not want to gel? What are the differences in gelled and ungelled soaps? Are there any benefits of one over the other? I read a lot about how people love the look of ungelled soaps or that they never gel. So I am curious. TIA

Please forgive me if this has already been asked, but do the oils that are derived from nuts cause reactions in people with peanut allergies? I have heard people say that they can't use things like Shea butter because of nut allergies.
