i started out learning to make mineral makeup and made some eyesahdows, but somehow got side tracked and ended up learning about CP soap, but will be going back to make more mmu...here are some of what i have done, pic is not great so sorry about that.... :)

these are my blueberry soap, but didn't quite turn out the way i had hoped... ..no color was added to these, i added coconut cream to this....not great soap, but still practicing with more batches...

hi, i made a batch of soap yesterday and when i checked on it this morning it had a layer of oils sitting at the top....how do i save this batch or can it even be saved...

Re: gratitude i have used saran wrap to line my mold last week...i made a 1 pound batch and the saran wrap came off of it with no problems, then i made a 2 pound batch, i had a tough time getting the soap out of the mold, a few minutes later i was able to finally get the soap out, and the wrap...

ok i won't worry about it then, just made my second batch today....can't wait to see how that turns out...i added blueberry FO....i added blueberry pop mica and well it turned green and not blue, mixed in some raspberry pop mica too.. :)

ok thanks i will be keeping an eye on it, hopefully it's not lye heavy, i was just following the measurements that soap calc gave me, ran it through several times and always got the same measurements..and followed it to a tee.. :)

hi everyone, i made soap yesterday and 23 hours later i checked on it and did a zap test, and got zapped..what does this mean? too much lye? will it eventually go away as soap cures? :shock:

nope u didn't mislead anyone, i guess here at where i'm at they don't sell the 100% sodium carbonate type of ph increaser, and don't think it was aqua chem though, i guess when others are looking to buy they need to look at the ingredients to make sure it's 100% sodium carbonate, at lowes i...

i just made my laundry soap within the last few days and i really like how it cleans, it really does a good job....i made the powdered type tho, which was my preference...i also had to go to lowes and get 100% sodium carbonate in the pool supply section, there was just no washing soda to be...

yes i scent mine, i use 15 drops of lemon eo, but my type of laundry soap is the powdered type. :)

yup you are so right about that...now i can save some money since i won't be buying those expensive laundry detergents anymore.... :)
