I made 4 batches of essential soap with coconut cream added as a portion of the water. First time using some of these essential oils. Orange Patchouli Peppermint Eucalyptus Frankincense Lavender with Tomato and Turmeric Lemongrass

This soap hardened up, I cut it and it’s been curing almost 2 weeks. It looks like soap and acts like soap so I’m going to wrap it up and gift it and keep a couple of bars for myself.

The containers were all sitting together and all the same temp with my infrared thermometer. I used an accelerating fragrance for the soap just in case to make sure it hardened up and was able to cut it several hours after I made it.

One of the very first soaps I ever made that weren’t melt & pour was dragons blood fragranced and it had a dragon face in it!! I still have these bars I made in 2018. Apart they look like the profile of some kind of demon, but together I see the straight on face of a dragon

I tested that one in the sink 😁 Well the water in the sink was pretty dark. I’m going to do a full tub test tomorrow and see what happens. Hoping for a dark purplish color and not gross brown.

I made some cool rainbow cloud bath bombs this evening and couldn’t stand not to test one even though they weren’t dry…..then the soapmaker in me just had to swirl the colors 🤣

I ended up adding 50% paraffin for my clamshells. I’m much happier with them all the way around that way.
