well i used rose fo and i ve made the same batch before with no problem.. the liquid did sting me in one batch.

recipe palm 40% coconut oil 20% ricebran oil20% sunflower oil 10% castor oil 10% sf at 7%

My last two batches, dunno what went wrong with them.. It all looked fine.. But When i demolded d soap.. Found air bubbles on d soap, jus pushed it with my finger.. Some liquid started to come out.. What could be my mistake?

Thanks neeners. I did found out which is not to be used in pregnancy.. Some where i read the percentage of essential oils is quite less and its washed off so its ok. But i want to be sure.. I mostly gift my soaps sometimes sell too.. Might be who sells can put light on this topic.

Is it ok for pregnant woman to use soaps containing essential oils.. Am sure many of u should be selling soaps which contains eos .. Do you write on labels- consult ur physician or something like that?

Ok i did try out swirling today after watching a youtube video. It looked simple enough for a beginner.. But it was a total disaster.. Now its just a two layered soap. Wonder when i will learn.. Hopefully soon.

Right like some one pointed out it should be the SF and not the oils. I live in a place which is hot and humid through out the year.. My neighbour to whom i ve gifted a soap said she got acnes using one of the soap.. So was wondering..

Hello all, i ve this very weird questions.. Ok now i live in a hot place. It either hot or hotter here. Do we have to select oils based on our climates. Does high conditioning and low cleansing soap make one feel oily. Lets consider the person has normal skin. Thanks.

I have been making soaps from past 6 months. First time i'm going to try shampoo bars. My recipe for the shampoo bar will be 20 percent each of coconut, palm, olive, rice bran and sunflower oils. So guys what do think of the oils? Do i have to increase or decrease any oil? And what should be SF...

thanks. But many places i ve read that an extra oil is added. So i guessed it was not included while calculating lye. Hope to get few more answers to my query from experienced soapers in the forum. Thanks
