Hey there, I'm sorry, I have no idea what the type of line was. I had an old spool that I had been using for various things around the house and it finally ran out a little while ago, so I'm not sure what it was. I got myself a cheap wire soap cutter off amazon for soap cutting and I've been...
I think your percentages look like a good place to start. Might want to get that coconut oil percentage down to more like 10%. Some people find coconut oil to be drying. I'd probably give that 5% to the shea butter. I'd also probably add sodium lactate to the recipe too for boosted soap...
Thanks for pointing me to this thread, @dibbles. I figured I'd bump it to see if anyone had any recent positive or negative experiences with the company.
Do you personally buy from them? If so, how do you like them? I considered that company but I got concerned with how many negative reviews they had on ebay and that they have no purity testing. Some of their prices seem way too low to me.
I feel like Wholesale Supplies plus has some affordable but still really good fragrances. I mostly buy from them. If you are looking for affordable EOs, check out Still Point Aromatics. They seem to have quality EOs for reasonable prices.
Yeah, if I decide it's too much risk to put my goat milk in it, I don't see myself adding in an ingredient that is manufactured just to get the words "goat milk" on my label.
I'll be doing some more research on all this. I had assumed optiphen plus was the way to go because a goat milk lotion...
I thought this might be a tough question to find and answer on. Does anyone here make goat milk lotion or know of someone who does? I'd be interested in hearing what you/they use even if you don't know the answer to my question.
Here's what I have: Amazon | kiniza 9 Pieces Clay Sculpting Tools I think I used the large ball to do it. They aren't the most quality tools, and I don't use them as much as I thought I would, but I'm glad I have them.
Do it! Try out my blend-- it's really fantastic. I'm sure I'll be using it again. If you do try it , let me know what you think of it.
Thank you! I have these kids sculpting tools that I got from amazon (I'll find the link) and I used one of them to make a row of paratheses going one one...
I have a goat tallow lotion recipe that I formulated that I'm working on getting ready to start selling. All of the people I've given samples to want me to convert it into a goat milk lotion as well. Currently I was just using distilled water. My assumption was that I would need to pasteurize...
That's a whole lot of great information! Thanks @Mobjack Bay!
I do not have any of these, oils. I'm trying to decide what to shop for. I'll look and see if I can buy Peru Balsam from Stillpoint Aromatics. Thanks for the suggestion!
